Description
Agra is a historic city on the Yamuna River in northern India, known for its rich Mughal heritage. It became prominent when Emperor Akbar made it his capital in the 16th century. Taj Mahal
The Taj Mahal is one of the most iconic monuments in the world, known as a symbol of eternal love. It was built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in 1632 in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. Made of pure white marble, the Taj Mahal stands on the banks of the Yamuna River and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Agra Fort

Fatehpur Sikri
Located about 40 kilometers from Agra, Fatehpur Sikri is a historic city founded by Emperor Akbar in the 16th century. It served as the capital of the Mughal Empire for about 14 years before being abandoned due to water scarcity. The city is built primarily from red sandstone and showcases a blend of Indo-Islamic architectural styles. Key attractions include Buland Darwaza (the largest gateway in the world), Jama Masjid, Panch Mahal, and the Tomb of Salim Chishti. It is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
